Below you will find some simple tips to keep your decorations and candles beautiful.

Maintenance of Jesmonite

Our Jesmonite products are hand-cast. This means slight variations in color, texture, and air bubbles may occur. These natural details make each piece unique.

Cleaning

Clean Jesmonite items gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning agents or abrasive materials to preserve the surface's appearance.

Contact with water

Jesmonite is a durable material, but prolonged contact with water can damage the surface. Therefore, it's best to store items in a dry environment.

Heat and sunlight

Jasmonite is heat-resistant, but not completely heatproof. Do not place hot objects directly on the surface and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent discoloration.

Treatment

Handle your decoration with care to prevent damage or breakage. Small air bubbles and subtle color variations are part of the handmade nature of the product.

Woodwick scented candles

Our wooden wick candles are made from a blend of coconut and rapeseed wax. This ensures a clean, gentle burn and a warm atmosphere.

• First Burn: When using the candle for the first time, let it burn for about 2 to 3 hours, or until the melted wax reaches the edge of the holder. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn.

• Wooden wick maintenance: Trim the wooden wick back to about 3mm before each use. This helps prevent soot buildup and an overly large flame.

• Burning time: Do not let the candle burn for longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time to maintain the quality of the candle.

• Safe use: Always place the candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

• Residual wax: Stop burning when there is approximately 1 cm of wax left at the bottom of the holder to prevent the holder from overheating.

Wax melts

Our wax melts are made from a blend of coconut and rapeseed wax. This creates a clean fragrance and a warm atmosphere in your home.

• Use in a fragrance burner: Place one wax melt in the bowl of a fragrance burner. Use a tea light to slowly melt the wax and release the fragrance.

• Burning time: Do not let the fragrance burner burn for longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time.

• Safe use: Always place the incense burner on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets. Never leave a burning incense burner unattended.

• Replacing the wax: When the scent diminishes, allow the wax to cool completely and solidify. Then remove the old wax and place a new wax melt in the burner.

• Cleaning the burner: Clean the bowl of the fragrance burner with a soft cloth before using new wax melts.
